Shane Warne full name is “Shane Keith Warne”. He was born in upper Ferntree Gully, Victoria, Australia. He married “Simone Callhan” Which is now his X-wife. He has three children Brooke, summer and Jackson. Warne played his first test match in 1992 and his 708 wickets was the record for the most wickets taken by any bowler in the history of Test cricket, Until it was broken by Sri Lanka’s Muttaih Muralitharan. He faced many up’s and down’s in his career especially during 2003 world cup. He was tested positive in a drug test before the tournament. He claimed everyone that he took only a “fluid tablet” in order improve his performance, but he was proved guilty. He also proved guilty in December 1998 for leaking composition of the team and the likely state of the pitch for certain matches during the Ashes Series in 1994/95 to one of the journalist named John. In February 1995 “Ian McDonald” the team manager had questioned both Warne and Waugh because Mark Waugh was the main culprit to introduce John to Warne. However this issue not kept confidential by Australian cricket board (ACB) and leaked to the ICC, they found him guilty for passing team’s information to bookmaker.

Shane Warne is considered as one of finest leg spin bowlers in the history of Cricket. He is the only second in both to pass 700wickets and to have a record of taking more number of wickets in Test cricket behind Muttaih Muralitharan of Sri Lanka. Shane Warne took over 1000 international wickets including Tests and ODI’s. He also gave some contribution in the form of batting to his team; he is useful lower order batsman who can support the other end of batsman. He also used to play Domestic cricket for his hometown Victoria and English domestic cricket for Hampshire and captained for the 3years from 2005 to 2007. Shane Warne thought of captaining the Australian team and it was on his dream to captain Australian team, but it was not fulfilled although he played for many years for his country. Actually his dream came true when he was named the captain and as well as coach of Rajasthan Royals for the jaipur team in Indian Premier League (IPL). He was paid only decent amount of money to play in IPL, but he lead his team in a brilliant way that they got victory against the Chennai Super kings in a sizzling final match on June 1, 2008 and won IPL tournament. Since Shane Warne’s retirement he was working for the “Shane Warne Foundation” assists seriously and underprivileged children”.

                                            Cricket History Of  Shane Warne
Warne made his career when he played the 4 day match in Zimbabwe by taking 7 wickets for 52 runs. He made his first class debut on February 1991 for Victoria against Western Australia. He performed well for Australia A and Australia B teams by taking some wickets. Actually one of team member of Australian team who was genuinely spinner in Australian team could not perform well so Shane Warne was included in the team in the place of that spinner. He played his first test against India and took first wicket of “Ravi Shastri” caught by Dean Jones, but unfortunately it was wicket that he could not forget because it was only wicket that, he took in that series. So , he was not so impressive during his start up, his form continued in the next test match also playing against Sri Lanka, but his 3/11 in second innings and Australian win in that series could not be replaced his place by any other player and therefore he did not lost his place in the team. He performed so well against West Indies in the 92/93 series in Melbourne by taking 7/52 in a match winning performance. There were lot of controversies in the year 94 and 95; despite of controversies h could give his full contribution for his team by performing well. In the Early 1970’s, 1980’s the domination of fast bowlers was immersive , despite the presence of high quality spin bowlers like Abdul Qadir of Pakistan on the Test scene. In the late 1990’s again the inclusion of Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram of Pakistan were assuming the mantle of the world’s most feared bowlers. In that situation Warne proved everyone that not only fast bowlers could fear the batsman but also the genuine spinner can also do it. He could able to spin the bowl where there is no help from the pitch for spinners. Warne’s performance in batting showed some hope to support lower order batsman for Australian team, he batted well against England in Ashes series in 1993.

Warne showed some character in batting and he also did well with ball as well, he bowled so brilliantly in the Ashes 1993 against England as they were inexperienced against world top class leg spinner Shane Warne., but he was struggled against India particularly the great Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar his bowling average against India is 47.18per wicket , while overall average is less than 26.Warne was performing well so brilliantly in Test cricket so, he was included in ODI’s. He lead Australian team for ten one day international’s in which they 9 and lost one. He contributed his great hand in helping Australian win in the 1999 cricket world cup under the captaincy of Steve Waugh. He retired from ODI’s after playing 2003 world cup and continued playing Test cricket till 2007. He broke the record of taking most career Test wickets in2004 playing against India overtaking Muralitharan, there was a great competition between them, Murali was a master of off spinner and Warne was a master of leg spinner. He became the first bowler in history to take most number of wickets in Test cricket for some period of time.

Shane Warne also play in The IPL .Warne was a captain of Rajasthan Royals for jaipur team, he was also appointed as a coach for his team, as team was not included with great players, but they performed well in IPL. It was least expensive team compared to all IPL team. He used his brain and entire experience in IPL to lift the magical trophy in his account. In there first match they lost very badly to Delhi Daredevils, but they bounced back in the second match against Kings Eleven Punjab and won the match. He gave only 19 runs in 4 overs and took 3 wickets which are very best in T20 format. From there on he and his team took step by step towards semi finals and won matches. Everyone thought that his team would not perform well in IPL, but Warne used his his experience and won match by match, improved his team’s performance and proved everyone wrong. They were always in the race of semi finals and it is his team which qualified first in the semi finals. They lost only 3 matches of their 16 matches they played. In their 3rd match against Deccan Charges (Hyderabad), it was his batting performance that gave victory for his team; he scored 22 crucial runs in the end of their 2nd innings. They need 19 runs off 6 balls, where Warne was at the strikers end, he did it in only 5 balls by hitting massive six of the 5th ball bowled by his old friend Andrew Symonds. Warne was paid Rs.1.8crores in IPL, where as his teammates Yusuf Pathan (1.9crores), Graeme Smith (1.9crores), Munaf patel (1.1crore), Langer (80Lacs), Mascaraneus (40Lacs), Morkel (24Lacs), Shane Watson (50Lacs) and Sohail Tanvir (24Lacs). Overall only 10 crores spent on players.
